Jaipur, July 26. The Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has congratulated and expressed good wishes to Shri Kaptan Singh Solanki, Member of Rajya Sabha, on his nomination as new Governor of Haryana.

Smt. Raje met Shri Solanki at his South Avenue residence in New Delhi on Saturday morning to present a bouquet of flowers and congratulate him on behalf of entire Rajasthan.

The CM said that she had family relations with Shri Solanki for past several years. She called him a skilled man of organization, intellectual, serious, open-minded and lively personality. She learnt a lot while working with him for past few years, she stated.

Smt. Raje hoped that Shri Solanki would execute the constitutional responsibilities as Governor of Haryana very successfully. On this occasion, the convener of Members of Parliament from Rajasthan Shri Bhupendra Yadav was also present.

Prior to this, the CM also met the Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Smt. Smriti Irani. During this meeting, Smt. Raje suggested for opening of new model schools at Panchayat Samiti level in Rajasthan on the lines of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.
